In 1998, Heart Hospital of Austin opened its doors and began providing cardiovascular services primarily to the people of Central Texas. Since then, the hospital has grown considerably in size, staff and services. The service region has expanded beyond Central Texas and even beyond the borders of the state. Our uniquely designed 58-bed hospital offers a full range of cardiac services and includes a 24-hour full service emergency center. The creation of the Heart Hospital of Austin resulted from the shared vision of Austin Heart Cardiologists, Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons Group of Austin (CTVS) and Medcath Corporation. Heart Hospital of Austin provides comprehensive physician-directed and patient-centered care resulting in excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction ratings.
